In an inspired collaboration with Studio Republik and Mrs. Keepa, two ‘tableau de dance’ , ‘living pictures’ were created in inspiration of the label’s upcoming Pre Fall 21/22 collection, Les silhouettes. The fusion of dance and Les silhouettes celebrated the art of fashion, revealing it as an expression of self through movement, design and colour. Mrs. Keepa designs are inspired by art, music, history, architecture and love. Each piece comes with an unspoken demand that the wearer embraces everything life has to offer, with the confidence that comes with a beautifully curated wardrobe.
Pieces from the new collection Les silhouettes were worn by dancers with performances in ballet, belly dancing, latin-fusion and contemporary dance. The unique display showed the garments from every angle, emphasising the deliberate swish of the deconstructed skirts, the eye catching movement of fringed trim, the shimmer of holographic detailing and the silhouette created by Mrs. Keepa’s signature statement shoulder.
Best-selling pieces from previous collections were worn by the talented accompanying musicians to promote Mrs. Keepa’s “Making Its Way Back: Best Sellers” offering, part of the label’s commitment to sustainability and challenging the idea that fashion only lasts a season.
